Our NightstandsThese are probably my favorite thing we've built. I love having two surfaces, plus two drawers! We adapted plans from Ana White to look more like this Crate & Barrel nightstand (but cost a fraction of the price). Would you guys be interested in an entire post on this?
Rev-A-Shelf Pull Out Trash Can
Here is what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, I do not even own this, or have a cabinet in which to install this. But to me, the whole point of storage is to hide your stuff. Why not hide trash too? I might end up rearranging my kitchen, just so I can incorporate this into it.

Artbin's Bobbin Box
Before I got this box, my bobbins were rolling everywhere and all mixed in with my big thread spools. They were so hard to find when I needed them! That's why I was excited to find a bobbin box. I didn't even know they made bobbin boxes. This one fits all of my active bobbins as well as plenty of empties (30 total). Bobbins, bobbins, how many times can I say bobbins? I picked the purple one but there is also a boring, clear option available.
Some Plastic 3-layer Box with a Handle
I really tried to remember the brand for this box, but I just couldn't. I even tried to find it on Joann's website, but it wasn't there (Fear not! They have other options!).
At any rate, I bought this craft box to hold my makeup. I'm sure it would be nice for crafts as well... but it fits the things I like to put on my face perfectly. My only issue with it is that I'm afraid I'm going to break the side snaps off one of these days. I'm just so strong and burly, it's bound to happen.
Now, if only I could think of a solution for the junk I have in my closet. I'm too embarrassed to even show you a photo of it right now... but I'm planning on a few DIYs to whip it into shape. You know I'll share when (if) that happens!

Yes, I want to see the night stand post, and great idea for the plastic case. I wouldn't have thought to use that for makeup!
