I was tasked with sending a pretty image-heavy pdf through email this week... to the tune of 40MB.  Which translates to about eight separate emails (give or take)!  Ain't nobody got time fo dat!  I started researching my options, and the first website to come up with smallpdf.com.  And it. Worked. Awesome.  I was expecting to compress a 5MB file to say, 2MB.  NO SIR!  It took all 40MB of files and compress it to... are you ready?  TWO POINT FOUR MEGABYTES.  Sorry if I'm geeking out on you guys, but this pretty much saved the day.  The best part?  It has so many more functions!  Pdf to jpg, jpg to pdf, merge pdf, etc.  All for free, all secure, and all very, very simple to use.  Five stars from me!

It's kind of weird when your husband has a crush on another man, right?  But I get it, as long as the man is Jimmy Fallon.  Stephen asks for this specific video like children beg for Frozen.  Sometimes we go on a bit of a YouTube binge and stare at our screen for hours of Jimmy entertainment, cackling on the front porch.  Then we break out the Monopoly and call it a  Friday night!  WE LOVE YOU JIMMY!

Amazon Prime Music

Amazon launched its own streaming music service this past week and I couldn't be more excited. I haven't even tried Amazon Prime Instant Video, but I downloaded the Prime Music app as soon as I got their email, if that tells you anything.

Amazon Prime users now have instant access to over a million songs. Critics of the service say the selection isn't quite as good as Spotify or Pandora, but I still think Amazon is onto something great. Not only can you can stream music without downloading it, but you clan also add music to your Amazon Music cloud (again... free with your Prime membership), burn your music to a CD, or download it to your phone, computer, or mp3 player. And since I'm already in a committed Prime relationship, I don't feel like I'm paying for the extra service. Bonus!
